Each month the Civic provides information of interest to the community at large. We invite local elected officials, law enforcement, and highway department representatives to report on issues of interest to the community at large.
For example, at one of our meetings, Leg. Sarah Anker updated us on the Rails to Trails and sergeant Brian Weinfeld told us about the Sheriff’s Office Project Lifesafer, a rapid-response program that aids clients who wander as a result of cognitive impairment or other afflictions.
We host candidate debates of local politicians, school board members, and fire district commissioners.
We welcome input from the community about issues that should be addressed.
